Automotive Urea, also known as AUS 32 (Aquous Urea Solution 32.5%), is a high-purity solution of 32.5% urea in deionized water. It is a clear, non-toxic liquid specifically designed for Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems in diesel vehicles. When injected into the exhaust stream, it decomposes to form ammonia, which reacts with nitrogen oxides (NOx) to convert them into harmless nitrogen and water, significantly reducing harmful emissions.
